In den 80ern gabs in der Rap szene fast ausschließlich neben James Born(Funky Drummer) eben auch Roger als samplequelle.
Gab natürlich auch andere aber so 88-89 waren es zu 60% Roger Samples.

roger selbst hat sich aber auch die ein oder andere "inspiration"
wo anders geholt, z.b. grapevine, im originalem von
marvin gaye(tamla motown is hot hot hot) und
i only have eyes for you habe ich instrumental auf
platte und kommt aus den 30er und thin line beetween love and hate
habe ich auch irgendwo auf lp aber weiß nicht genau wo da mir da
rogers funk fehlt, war aber auch ein tag älter, ist
nämlich eine von mein vater
