Sagt mal, der Teddy Riley soll doch auch sehr gut Talkbox spielen können. Auf welchen Alben ist er denn zu hören?
Ist der auch Produzent/Mitglied bei Blackstreet?
Hat er selbst Alben aufgenommen?

Yo,
finde auch das Teddy es drauf hat.Er war sowohl Leader und Produzent der Gruppen Blackstreet und Guy und produzierte unter anderem Trax für Bobby Brown,M.Jackson uvm..... Ende der 80er bis mitte der 90er war er auf jeden fall einer der angesagtesten Produzenten und hat er hat damals den "New Jack Swing" Sound geprägt,von vielen auch Swingbeat genannt.Seit etwa einem Jahr gibts auch im Internet ein Album namens Blackrock,welches leider nie offiziell veröffentlicht wurde.Auf diesem Album sind sehr viele gelungene Talbox-Tracks vertreten.

Es gibt wohl eine geringe Stückzahl von den CDs, also von Blackrock, die auch gern bei Ebay versteigert wird für mehrere 100 €...

Aber dran zu kommen ist schwer, wer es hat hütet es natürlich

Danke für das Blackrock Album. Hatte ich mir allerdings ganz anders vorgestellt. Nach kurzem Reinhören muss ich sagen, dass es kein Wunder ist, dass er es nicht veröffentlicht hat.

Vielleicht muss ich es auch mal genauer hören. Hatte einen exessiveren Einsatz der Talkbox erwartet.

Moment,
habe den Download mal angeklickt und musste feststellen,das es sich hierbei nur um die Ep handelt bei der mehr als die Hälfte der Songs fehlen.
Es bleibt natürlich Geschmackssache,aber wenn man das ganze Album hat gibts auf jeden Fall mehr von seiner Talkbox zu hören und mich überzeugt sie.
Aber wie gesagt ist natürlich Geschmackssache.

Also Leute, ehrlich Blackrock ist nicht gut. Teddy Rilley schon. Sein neues Album war einfach nichts besonderes. kann man nichts machen... Aber er hat doch super viel gutes zeug gemacht. Zum beispiel Teddy's Jam 3. Das ist ein einziger tribute an Roger und Zapp. wenn man den gehört hat weiss man direkt was sache ist. Er ist auch live Supergut. mit der Talkbox. Hab ihn schon gesehen. Nur ein problem, er setzt sich zwischen die stühle(Old School + New School).

Hätte gerne den Song aus Blankman, der nicht auf dem album drauf ist. Er fährt nachts mit seinem Babe auf dem Blankmobil. Läuft im Hintergrund. Wird von Vizion(später Men of Vizion) gesungen.

Kenne zwar nicht alle produktionen von mr. riley aber mein favorit
ist und bleibt guy-word.Ich glaube das ´war seine erste gruppe oder ?
einer der Könige des New Jack Swing (aber der Kaiser ist mr. KEITH SWEAT.nich war !!!)

Also wenn ich mal was sagen darf... Teddy Riley ist der König... Er hat den New Jack sound sowie die talkbox revolutioniert... Das Blackrock ein flop album ist, liegt ganz einfac daran das, dieses besagt album gestohlen wurde auf dem Hi-8 tape... das ist auch der Grund warum bei ebay nur kopien zu finden sind und diese für über 100 € gehandelt werden.Ferner sollte euch doch auch aufgefallen sein, das, dass Blackrock album eine fast exakte kopie des 2003er albums von Blackstreet ist... Teddy hat diese song aufgenommen und diese dann auf dem blackstreet album zusammen mit blackstreet (nachdem diese sich 2003 mal wieder zusammengeschlossen haben nach 2 comebacks) aufgenommen. Des weiteren hat Teddy Riley von Roger Troutman gelernt, der für mich als gründer des talkbox/vocoder sounds gilt. Der Zapp und Roger Triutman stuff ist nicht zu haten das ist unmöglich, doch hat Teddy den sound revolutioniert... also das ihr alle jetzt auf Teddy rumhackt ist für mich unverständlich.. ich meine parde beispiele für teddys einzigartige talkbox sind wie oben gennant redhead kingpin positive k oder abstrac. Ausserdem kann Teddy eine einzigartigkeit aufweisen die noch kein produzent auf der Welt geschafft hat. Teddy Riley war der einzige der die Rolling Stones remixen durfte (offiziell versteht sich) wenn jetzt einer sagt moment mal die stones wurden doch auch von The Neptunes geremixed dann sag ich euch, wer hat the neptunes entdeckt? Damals in Virgina 1999? Es gab nur ein einziges studio in virgina nämlich das von Teddy Riley

also liebe talkbox freunde glaubt mir teddy ist der Talkbox King hört euch erst alle productions an die ihr in der oberen liste seht und bewertet ihn dann und wie gesagt das blackrock ding war keine fertige geschichte, die war noch nichtmal fertig gemastered...
